This qualification is suited to those who not only want to work as a Beauty Therapist, but for those who have the drive to own or manage a beauty salon or spa themselves. This course opens the way for you to work in a spa or beauty salon offering a large range of services such as waxing, spray tanning, day and evening make-up, nail art, and incorporates more advanced skills such as performing facials, advanced facials and body massage services. 

In addition to being able to perform a range of services to pamper your clientele, you will also lean the critical knowledge for the care of client’s skin conditions and how to provide advice to them in a professional manner, referring them to products and services which best suit their skin types.

If you wish to go onto further study this Certificate gives you credit for upto 16 of the 25 units of work required to complete the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

Our Graduates

After completing the Cert IV in Beauty Therapy, many of our graduates work in day spas or in beauty therapy salons. Many open their own beauty therapy businesses in order to work around their  children. A lot of our graduates elect to continue with the Diploma of Beauty Therapy in order to be able to offer and perform more services such as body treatments, massage and reflexology.


Requirements: No previous qualifications required
Course Length: 12 months. To complete this course you need to assign 25 hours per week divided between your on campus and off campus study.
Training Times: The Academy is open for training Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 3:30pm

We will design a personalised training plan to reflect the study time you have available.
